Banfield Pet Hospital Specialist Sourcing in Vancouver, Washington

Summary and Qualifications:

Proactively source qualified candidates to fill all open positions, reducing time to fill and increasing quality of the applicant pool.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. withinself and team.

  • Source, identify, and pipeline quality, candidates foractive and passive talent profiles efficiently by posting positions, coldcalling, networking, etc..

  • Gather and compile candidate data, competitive trends,market research and candidate lead generation.

  • Assist the team in the development and implementation ofprograms, plans, policies, and procedures for recruitment, testing, selectionand hiring new associates.

  • Analyze and share data to drive sourcing decisions.

  • Present Banfield as an employer of choice at various careerfairs, employer panels and other public speaking events.

  • Gather and compile candidate data, competitive trends,market research and candidate lead generation.

  • High Volume Candidate lead generation through calling,texting and emailing

  • Assist in and provide input on revisions, upgrades, andenhancements to Banfield’s career center and any other piece to the ATS thatwould improve effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Provide input into the development and/or revision ofrecruiting materials and processes.

  • Maintain and update applicant-tracking database.

  • Other job duties as assigned.

Special Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.

  • Project timelines and work volume/ deadlines may oftenrequire more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.

  • Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering,mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the Englishlanguage) to perform the duties proficiently.

  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written,oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables

Experience, Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business preferred, or the equivalent combination ofeducation, training and experience that provides the required knowledge,skills, and abilities.

  • Minimum three years sourcing or recruiting is required.

  • Experience conducting deep dive candidate searches usingvariety of search technics to include complex Boolean searches, flip searches,x-ray searches and reverse searches required.

  • Experience with email and texting marketing campaigns is required.

  • Experience with an ATS and CRM (Taleo preferred) is required.

  • Prefer health care background (veterinary or humanhealthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.).
